Dogwood Youth Ministry strives to purposely serve God according

to His word by loving our Lord and our neighbor.

Sunday School

9:15 a.m.

We dig into God's word in a variety of interesting ways. We look at God's word and the

events from biblical times and apply the lessons we learn to our own lives.

6:00 p.m.

This is a time for fellowship and discussion. We share a snack, discuss a variety of curent issues that impact youth,

and often spend the time just enjoying each other's company.

We believe that there are two parts to our spiritual growth: The first is taking in God's Word (breathing in),

the second is putting God's word into action (breathing out). We are actively

involved each month in helping those who need an extra hand. Our service

projects include raking leaves, painting houses, hanging pictures and anything else that might need doing.

6:30 p.m.

This is a worship servec designed for teens. There are games, singing, object lessons and much more.

As we try to honor God and His word, we look for ways to love our neighbor through mission work.

Dogwoo church has been to a children's home in Mexico several times, as well various mission trips here in

Texas. We have a variety of opportunities to love our neighbors like water well drilling, working with food

distribution to the need, partnering with churches for Vacation Bible School and general repair and

construction help.
